Vatra Incense Sticks

      Vatra Incense — a coniferous mono-aroma with distinct woody and resinous notes, evoking the atmosphere of an evening campfire deep in the Carpathian forest. Created in collaboration with Plast.

      The scent is inspired by vatra — the heart of Plast camps, where youth gather around the fire, sing, share stories, and build a sense of community.

      “The green forest hums to us…” — a line from the Hymn of the Zakarpattia Plast Scouts, referring to the quiet, profound presence of pine forests. In the song “Greying in the twilight…,” which traditionally concludes every vatra, the phrase “cedars of the Gorgany night” appears — referring to mountain pines growing in the Gorgany range, shaping the distinctive Carpathian landscape.

The set includes 14 incense sticks, symbolically corresponding to the 14 points of the Plast Law.

       Scots pine (Pinus sylvestris) is the core of the aroma — one of the most widespread conifer species in the Carpathians. It grows on slopes and foothills, forming dense pine forests with a deep, clean, and resinous character.
